Hvis der er en tendens der er gennemsyret for foråret, så er det den meget markerede og stærke kvinde . Habitjakker, stærke læderdetaljer og smukke habitbukser er noget der træder mere og mere ud, og der er især lagt vægt på det gode snit og den lidt syrede detalje som afrunder de stive outfits med en legende lethed, hvori den farverige tilgang til prints er en essentiel vinder . Kvinden skal være seriøs, meget seriøs, men ikke så seriøs at der ikke er plads til at lægge vægt på superfarver som smaragdgrøn, der jo allerede summer i baglokalet som den nye store IT-farve!

A serious springtrend creeping in on us, is the fact that the woman has to put the man in in woman. Blazer, hard leather details, and suit-pants are all stepping into character to create the business-y look with emphasis on the cool cut and sharp array of details creating a sort of artistic playfullness, that with the colorfull prints softens the entire seriousness in a very feminine way . And yes . Emerald is here to stay, and this is a perfect example why . 

Min forelskelse i Adidas vil ingen enden tage, det er måske efterhånden lidt pinligt, men det gider jeg egentligt ikke tænke så meget over . Har det fedt! Da jeg faldt over den jakke, var jeg lidt i tvivl i starten, men endte med at forelske mig blødende . Med god grund! Spaceman og omvandrende logo i et? Who wouldn’t!

My infatuation with Adidas won’t seem to stop, borderline embarrasing, but who cares . I love it! Coming across this jacket first made me doubt, it’s quite a lot to handle, but love haven’t ended yet, and I’m quite crazy about it! I mean, spaceman and walking logo in one? Who wouldn’t!

Jeg har det så dejligt i sort for tiden – det giver også lidt ekstra til de små detaljer, og apropos detaljer så er min cap umiddelbart min yndlings i øjeblikket . Det er sikkert vejret’s skyld – men det er bare så dejligt!

Feel so good wearing black these days – gives a little extra to the details as well – for example the cap, which is my favourite these days . It’s probably the weathers fault – but I love it!

Mary Katrantzou har for alvor slået sig fast på modehimlen som en af de ypperste designere i moderne tid og inddrager glædeligt folk i hendes fantastiske farverige univers af prints, der på den mest afslappede måde sirligt er sammensat til sydamerikanske kunstværker, der med flere elementer skaber en perfekt helhed . Endelig en der tør og kan lave et suit der nærmest revolutionere som Hedi Slimane gjorde med herremoden for år tilbage . Hvem havde troet at aztekisk-inspireret blåt skinnende print kunne gøres til perfektion som her . Egentligt havde jeg aldrig troet det og derfor er denne kollektion så perfekt for mig, som den er!

Mary Katrantzou has, with her SS13 collection, proved that she’s here to stay, and convincingly invite people into her amazing universe of colors and grade a craftmanship, that with sharp print-work leaves no question about her authority as one of fashion’s finest new stars. The relaxed, yet perfect, combination of southamerican inspired prints, left small artworks to be awed as they strolled down the runway during London Fashion Week, and left a feeling of unity. Finally a designer who can, and will, revolutionize the suit as Hedi Slimane did with mens fashion years ago. Who would have thought a suit with shiny blue aztec-inspired printwork would be done to such an extend of perfection as seen here? I wouldn’t and that’s why this collection is so perfect for me!

Ååååååh hvor er det dog bare pinagtigt. Jeg har jo ønsket mig denne her farvekombination i 100 år. Julemand – hvis du eksistere så har du her din mulighed for at bevise det! Forudbestilles HER!
